I started my card business in 2014 when my youngest started school. Now she’s in the first year of her GCSEs and her older brother is in his first year university. It’s been a rollercoaster ride at times, through the troughs of the closure of both Phoenix Trading and Flamingo Paperie to the highs of being able to pay for family treats such as taking my daughter and two friends to Harry Potter Studios Tour at the beginning of the month.
As I head into my 11th year, I’m an agent with Lilac Tree Designs who have taken up the Flamingo Paperie mantel and will be producing some new cards with some familiar artists, new ones. All cards are printed on recyclable and responsible resourced card using vegetable dyes and even our flitter (glitter) is not plastic. Lilac Tree are using the same printers as before.
I will continue with my corporate pop-up shops but I will be more selective with the events I do. I will continue to keep my customers up to date by email. But please also see my Facebook and Instagram pages for the latest update.
